Default squeak noise from in the head....video included

I have a squeak noise coming from under the valve cover, im thinking its either a bad spring or something with the valve. Heads just came back from the machine shop and I put the passenger side on the drivers side and the squeak moved from front passenger to rear drivers....im stumped someone help me please.....

Take of the valve covers and check the springs and look at the rockers. Also take out the pushrods and roll them on a flat surface if its bent it could be that.

That sounds like a lifter gone bad - roller jammed or lifter turned sideways. Did you check the lifetrs when you had the heads off?

EXHAUST GASKET! just replaced mine due to the same exact noise... you can also try to loosen the bolt and retighten them... it worked for me for a little while till i replaced them

and i actually changed the lifters when i had the heads off because i had those shitty cadillac racing lifters in there....thanks for the replys guys...any more ideas

yep, it was the exhaust manifold gasket, no more noise
