Default Damn I want this ss but...

It's at a stealership listed at a price I'll never pay for one

What would be a fair offer to hit them with so I can pick up this beauty? I love EVERYTHING about it!!!

Tell while 2002 was the 35 anniversary of the camaro, that is not the anniversary eddition and blow that crap out their ***. Anniversary edditions are red with grey stripes. As far as anything else you will have to inspect the car and talk them down to a good price.

Annivesary edition is a joke. This dealership is full of it and constantly SELLS f-bodies waaaaaaaaay over any blue book value, not even within reasonable range either, that tells me people are stupid enough to pay those prices.

In 2003, I bought a 99 white WS6 with the same miles as the SS (50k actually), M6, and immaculate, paid $16k for it from a dealership and use it as my benchmark. No way would I pay $1k more for a similar F-body 9yrs later. Like TINKRD said, start with blue book and go from there.

It's very nice, I don't think 14k would be a bad deal. But yea no anniversary edition.

Clean looking ride. Reminds me of what mine used to look like when i first got it. As stated though, I wouldn't pay more than 13 for it.

That's just it... It's not the one who asks, it's the one who pays. That sure is one helluva nice car, though, but, IMO, it's about 5K overpriced.

Interesting, BTW, how in the CarFax it says the automatic transmission was checked back in 2007.

A regular white SS with custom upholstered seats will never qualify as a collectible. Look for special editions and rare color combos, ultra low miles. Avoid automatic trans, the manual cars have more collector value.

Examples:

1999 white/blue stripe 30th Anniversary WS6
1999 hugger orange SS
Any year Firehawk (bonus points for Formula body)
Any year WS6 Formula
2002 red/silver stripe Camaro SS Limited Edition 35th
2000 black/gold stripe 10th Anniversary Firehawk
2002 yellow/black stripe Collector Edition WS6 T/A

Not a TA guy and those camaro color combos are not my flavor.

I meant I want a clean fbody as my personal collector and color choice..
White is clean and I honestly haven't seen a white SS in my area since I've owned a fbody (2004)
