They might have been...they were only $90 they do use a o-ring style oem gasket

I bought a set of valve covers that look just like that and thought I got an awesome deal, the look great but after using them I noticed that the mounting fasteners don't hold it tight, it slides down on head which could cause it to clip the rockers and the rubber on the bolts to clamp it down just gets destroyed if you try and tighten them enough to keep from sliding... So in short yea they look good but mine don't seal good and leak oil....

I had a set like that but couldn't even get the gasket to sit in place so I returned them.

i have a set from ebay and so far they dont leak, their a pain in the ass to get them to sit right on the cylinder head and had to put flat washers on the bolt between the rubber and bolt head so the bolts would spin freely to tighten the valve covers up enough to seal

ya they do look sweet just bolted them on today, the gaskets are a pain to get to seat right but the o-ring is thick enough to seal i hope!

I put em on last night and looks like they didnt mill the flange flat after welding them but, it seems that when you tighten them down the gasket compresses decently enough to not have a prb.

Seriously thinking about tig welding a couple bosses on them and maken my own katech style coil relocation kit to wrk w them
