Southern Members - Any Good Tuners Around Memphis, Tn area

I need a good tuner thats around the memphis area thats good with tuning. I will be doing a 6.0 swap in a few weeks, with heads and cam. Nothing major.....let me know if you guys know of anyone. And feel free to give feedback on Dynospeed if you have been there....i dont know too many people who have had there car tuned there so any info on them would be appreciated.

DynoSpeed tuned my previous (2) 2005 GTOs and my current 2000 SS and 01 Ws6. They are the only guys I go to.

whats done to your cars????? and have you ran em at the track??....an yeah thats my car....i really wanted to trade for an ss but i think ima just keep it since i got kind of a rare color and plus i just put lca's and panhard bar on it today.

All I ever did was long tubes, exhaust and the intake to let it breathe better. Nothing serious. But those guys can take care of all your needs. Never taken them to the track

Dynospeed is the only place in Memphis I would take my car. Forest is a super cool Guy and also a great tuner.

The only thing i keep hearing is that they are not gonna unleash your car's full potential. This is coming from guys from MS, ARK, and TN. I know alot of people who drive fbodies, and the crazy thing is that none of them have had there car tuned by them. They either use frost, and datalog there cars an send the datalogs to him through email until they're tune is just right or they have a friend who does a street tune on they're car.

I can assure you will not be leaving et on the table after Forrest tunes your car as long as your car is mechanically correct. He tuned my ctsv to 10.7 and my old 09 to 10.5. What trans are you running?

i heard james at henson performance in alabama is great at tuning. And the price is right

i've heard abou them but i read some post where they had some trouble with some stolen stuff or something like that.i got family in memphis so i could ride there one weekend.

Please explain. From what I know, the owners of the car's he tuned recommended him. I will have him tune my Z06 at the end of this summer.

I already did. He is not a tuner. He's had HP tuners for a couple months at most and tuned like 5 cars. I was a former sponsor of this site. Spectacle Solutions, my banner is still up ----->

Yeah i wasnt too sure about dynospeed. Frost has my car running A1. And i know Zane, he loaded my tune up for me....and yes he is fairly new to tuning so i couldnt let em tune my car. Im very picky about who touches it. And @unaffiliated racing aka Brian, it seemed like u did good tuning work when the shop was still up but honestly your tuning almost made two of my friends car BLOW from running so lean.

you dont have dyno graphs on these 2 because u never put them on dynos. i guess u just did a base tune to keep em running after you installed there cams. Far as mechanical work they say youre great, but when it comes to tuning i hear nothing but bad feedback on you. Some guys say they wouldnt let anyone else touch there car and youre the best but majority of the people i hang around that have been tuned by you had to get retuned by someone else do to your tune being fucked up. For example: One of my friends car had a cam and full bolt ons. Went to track and ran a 13 flat. You told em his car was fine an that what it was suppose to run. he had it retuned and ran the car again that same night, didnt change a thing suspension wise or his tires. And he ran a 12.1 so explain that........

Or maybe you just cut corners on "certain people" cars. Idk and dont care. My car runs fine. And thumpnz28 im ready when you are. All motor no spray. Youre not far from me at all.

Obviously you don't want to name the people or their cars. That's probably a good idea for you bc I'd hate to tell you the truth of it all lol. If you believe tune work will drop 9 tenths...... You sir are an idiot and should have other professionals work on your car, you obviously don't know how tuning works and I'm sure there are NO other factors that can change times at the track :rolleyes:

So youre tellin me a car thats running horribly lean should run good numbers? A 00 T/A, torquer 2, 3200 stall, full bolt ons, and ls6 intake suppose to run 13s? is that what youre saying? And to add to to it, u never mentioned to them they where running out of injector. Jimmy retuned the car, made it safe enough to run til the injectors where replaced. Ran a 12.4 just from the tuning. Replaced injectors with 36lb along with 3600 stall and got it down to 12.1. No need for the back and forth about it, it is what it is....im just saying dude, do you cut corners on certain people cars or what?

I do what people PAY me to do. So what does that tell you? You're right no sense in going back and forth bc when it's all said and done, I do tunes almost everyday from good paying customers ;)

My times at the track did jump from 13-12.9 to 12.3 just off a street tune. Remember I paid u for a re tune after I blown my first engine up. I have no problems with u. Just my tune wasn't right. With all that said I still need my car tune
