Default Custom made oil pan

I just got my ls1 for my wrx and noticed i'll need either a gto oil pan, or custom make an oil pan because I need a front sump. The cheapest i've found a gto oil pan was about $250 but I dont think that included the pickup tube, baffle or tubes that moves the oil filter to the front. Would it be cheaper to have a shop use my firebird oil pan flange and pickup tube to make it a front sump? I think i could possibly keep my engine x member if I have one custom made just right. I know i'll also have to do fittings and hoses for a remote oil filter. I've done searches and have gotten ideas from that but still unsure what I should do. Any suggestions?

If you hunt about you're bound to find a complete used GTO pan/pickup for sensible money.

That pan looks perfect, the only problem is that it's almost 800 bucks.

That pan would have to be modified. The tallest part comes out to the middle, which is where my rack and pinion is, and would require even more work with the oil filter location where it is. I should be testing fitment tonight so i'll let you know if it would work.
