Default Flowmaster 1 chamber? Super 10 Series vs. Delta Force.

Looking to change my spiral flows. What is everybody running with their Flowmaster 1 chambers?

http://www.jegs.com/i/Flowmaster/389/9430109/10002/-1

http://www.jegs.com/i/Flowmaster/389...ductId=1437252

Both are listed as one chamber. The 843015 is listed as one chamber in the paper catalog, but not on the site.

Super 10 = Stainless Steel

Delta Force = Aluminized Steel

What is the difference between the two and why is there a $30 price difference between the two if they are both one chambers? I'm thinking the Delta Force is the proper one I want, the ones that are $90 a piece. Anybody have any input on which one? Thanks.

One is higher because it is stainless and the other is steel. Price of materials otherwise they should be identical. Most run the steel version.

I thought the stainless one would be the more expensive one, but it's the stainless one that's $30 cheaper. Is there really a flow or sound difference between the two?

I have no idea. I'd Google it. I didn't even know they made a stainless version honestly.

i bought a super 10 3" in/dual 2.5" out to basically put in the factory muffler location, mounted front to back instead of side to side. what i read about the 2 mufflers is that the delta series is for class type racing, and the super 10 is a "street" muffler. if anything, i'd think the delta series is louder, but damn...i've heard some super 10s and they're pretty loud.

im running the aluminum ones on my gto. they are loud. but sound good though. mine are loud mostly because of having turn downs before the rear axles.

I put one in my loudmouth in the place of the resonator. It sounds like crap to me when you first start it but overall it's not to bad. I going another route as soon as i figure out what i want. If you looking for a deep tone this is not the muffler to go with. It almost as loud as the lm2.
