Default tbi to ls1 k1500

can anyone point me in the right direction, i would like to see a write up or talk to someone who has done this before vehicle is a 93 k1500 tbi 350 with early 4l60e dont know if i want to go efi or not hopefully i can get info on both i really want to know about trans fitment and controling it any help apriciated

I did swap on a 89 burb so should be same or really close to what you are working with.
Any specific ? just ask. I got alot of my info from the FAQ and other posts.

I basically did the set back motor mounts, trans did not move. I have a 700r4 so it is not computer controlled, would have been easier if it was to eliminate the expensive tv cable adapter setup. I used a 4.8 with computer and harness, grabbed a factory fuseblock from a newer truck and powered it up according to info found on lt1swap.com

Ive done a 94 c1500 5.3l using the 94 4l60e, should be similiar, you can get a flywheel spacer to take care of the mechanical part. You'll need tuning to turn off the tcc pwm in the pcm, all 4l60e's after 94 have this valve while the 93-94 do not. You will also need to give the pcm a signal for park/drive, which will depend on the pcm/os your using.
