Default Hot wire kit not working?

So I bought a hot wire kit off a sponsor. The kit is pretty self explanatory, one wire to the alternator, then the connector that goes between the pump and factory connector.

So I got my car all put together and the fuel pump doesnt turn on, connected the factory connector to the pump, works fine. I am assuming the relay is bad.

Anyone ever have this problem?

Stupid question...
Why would you want a hot wire kit?
Could well be a relay problem.

The factory wiring is too small for the amperage of the racetronix pump. It will melt the wire and connector

you need to check your grounds off the hot wire kit make sure the grounds are making a good metal to metal contact on the frame.
