Hello all, here is another small video i just made on my phone.

All people were cool and all was done all in good fun.

C5Z06: intake, full exhaust and tune

GTR: tune

11 GT500: stock

Camaro SS: 402 stroker motor, stalled and 4.10's

I think the tail lights on the 402 Camaro were slowing it down...

I honestly thought the shelby would do a little better with that stock 550 hp...

Im not a big fan of those tails but we cant all have the same taste.

Not sure how that would happen as he seemed to give me the im ready nod before the honks and not to mention he is a stalled auto car.

His car is definitely faster, i wanted to go to 135-140 but on both runs i was forced to let off at around 125mph. On the first run we went right by a cop on the other side of the highway at 125ish, just about shit my pants but thank GOD he didnt feel like chasing. And on the socond run the road was super bumpy and we were coming to a turn so i let off again at 125ish.

Its pretty simple, rules dont change.... wether you honk slow or fast... Its GO as soon as you hear the 3rd honk.

You got me a little confused... The runs werent imediately back to back, i just edited the footage.. We were both in 2nd gear for those runs but i am sure the shelby could have had a better driver, it wouldnt have changed the outcome though.... The shellby had roughly 75 more rwhp than me but like you said, i am much lighter...

You can see hear him come back up get beside you for second race. Ya 75whp isn't going to overcome weight difference. His weight is least 3850 before he gets in it. What you weigh?

Actually, me and you have virtually the same power mods: both of us have long tubes, intake and x pipe. The onlything i have extra is my cat back which adds virtualy no power but instead about 40lbs worth of weight over the stock titanium catback(it sounds good though) :)

Im not sure how you got your car weighting that much, whats the secret? Lol, gm has these cars listed right around 3150lbs.... I sure wouldnt mind loosing a 100 extra pounds

LOL..kinda..plan was E85 for new tune. Bad thing I need new injectors that cost 1200 and a return fuel system that cost 1400. To gain 4lbs boost and some power. Then risk limits of block. I am on limits of block on 93 already. So just retuning for stall for now. Get my suspension in that is in the garage and delete a few lbs. Nothing crazy though. Next year will most likely pull engine do forged internals, 18-19lbs boost and E85. Maybe bigger stall. Just depends if I can get my orders deleted to Benning how soon it all happens. Internals are only 840.

Nope, no intake manifold nor ported stock one....

All i have is halltech air intake, LG LT's with highflow catted x pipe and Borla Stinger catback and tune. Thats it, nothing less nothing more... :cheers:

That is a full tank of gas and all the fluids toped off. Machs are listed at ~3450 but it is not uncommon to see them around 3375 on the scales bone stock. Your exhaust will also lighten the car up some.

You are incorrect about the exhaust, the exhaust added weight. No exhaust is lighter than the stock Ti exhaust....

Gt500 got destroyed as expected. Thats gotta be the sorryest car on the road for its actual speed vs hp rateing.

You did well against the gtr. They dyno 390-410 awhp stock so if this one was truly tune only then its a solid 450 awhp car that trapps 122-125 mph just like a stock 12 gtr at 450 awhp.

my buddies 01 Z06 was 3160 with LTs no cats, Borla Stingers, Coilovers instead of leaf springs, and full tank of gas. So Zyborg estimate is prolly pretty close for his weight

I thought stock 2011 GTR where as fast as C6 Z06, so a tuned one should pull you better than that, unless again the driver suck LOL.
**edit, its 2012 GTR that can run low 11s@125+** 2011 are still rated at 485 stock but 12' got 530 ponies

This was a 09 GTR and i had my front bumper at his tails exactly at 145...

Go get a 06z for 38k and call it a day. If you really need a back seat then hold out a lil and get a 08 gtr for 55k. Theve dropped in value since the 12s came out.

I have had the vette for a while and its getting up there in mileage. It has exceeded my expectations but im growing a little bored with it and tired of it high maintenance.

I started this game with a mustang, so i have a lot of love for a properly set up and clean one.

The 5.slow offers many options and benefits to me being that i could get it brand new. It is fairly cheap, easy to mantain and work on yourself. Its not as high maintenance as some of the cars you mentioned. But it is still a good looking car if done right.

The main thing is that i want a car that i can daily drive, drive cross country and do everything with. Something that i can rip into while at the same time not putting a hole in my wallet.

Im not saying im going to do it just that the though has been crossig my mind...
