Gen 5 Camaro External Bolt-On Tech - HID Headlights on SS1

I have a 1SS and i want the HID headlights, I went to the service dept at the dealership and asked if i could put them on, and they said they didn't think they can. This doesn't seem right, but I haven't actually looked too much into it. Does anyone know if I can do that. I understand I'll prob have to get a different harness and all that, i'm just wondering if it's possible. Thanks in advance for your help.

just go to ebay and buy the wattage hid kit you want and throw em in. make sure you get your correct bulb though. unless your talkin about the halo rings??? if so someone makes a kit for them for the non rs package folks
