I plan to get my 12 bolt soon and maybe going to do 3.90's. I want the 3.90s over the 4.10's because the car might have gas on it one day. I just think the 3.90 is a perfect medium. But some people say they are alot more loud for some odd reason. Let me know guys.

i got 390s they howl pretty good from 50-68 or so, their in my moser 12 bolt, never got any quieter or louder with plenty of abuse.....im swapping to 410s in my full H/C car, IMO just go 410s until you get nitrous gears are cheap for 12 bolts, 390 is a richmond cut gear, some people say its louder cuz of that some say its cuz of the way they set them up, i think its a little of both, but im going to swap to a 410(not a richmond gear) and have a friend set them up nice and quiet for me, plus it will help this heavy ass WS6 get outta the hole better, unless you do alot of highway racing 410s are the way to go.
