I have a 97 camaro with the stock in tank pump and a single Inline 255 right now. My buddy just gave me a second 255 and I'm wondering what it takes to install the second pump inline. Any info helps. Thanks.

Do it the correct way and install twin in-tank 255's. Using inline pumps along with the stock pump will only "bandaid" a fuel flow problem. Your still always going to have the stock in-tank pump as a restriction, no matter how many pumps inline you add.

Thats understandable. I dont want to half ass the fueling but im on a really tight budget these days and I already own 2 inline 255 pumps. what if I remove the stock pump and run a metal pick up for each inline pump into the tank then Y the two pumps into a -10an line to the fuel rails? would that work the same?

Not sure if those pumps are designed to be pushers or pullers so having them actually "suck" the fuel from the tank may not work...you'll have to do some research on that. And actual twin in-tank walbros are easily done in an LT1 tank and the pumps only run about $100 a piece. What HP are you looking to make? You shouldn't need anywhere near a -10 feed line. If you are still running the setup thats trapping 103 mph in the 1/4, you shouldn't even need anything more than a single walbro and stock lines.

FYI, I'm shooting for 650 HP out of my setup and I have twin walbros in the tank into a -8 feed line into stock fuel rails. It's a 5.3 LSx, but HP is HP so the fueling principles are the same. My fuel system should be good to around 1000 HP at the flywheel just to give you an idea.

My set up I'm finishing right now is a forged 383 small cam with a v7 ysi. Shooting to make 700rwhp on race gas.
