This is how I did mine.

Or if you want/need to high mount the alternator like I did it would look like this. I had to do this for pitman arm clearance on my 73 Camaro.

The clamp shown in the pictures was being used to shorten a longer belt I had laying around as these pics were taken during mock-up. Also the alternator pully looks large in diameter because it's an underdrive pulley off my other car. I'm now using a standard size alternator pulley.

The pulley is a belt tensioner pulley from a truck. I robbed mine off the tensioner that came with my LY6 but you can pick a replacement pulley up at Autozone under Duralast part number 231086. The belt I'm using is a 69.5 inch Dayco 200-5060695. But remember that I've got my alternator high mounted now and not low mounted as it was in the pic you reposted. That set up with the alternator in the stock position would probably take a shorter belt than I'm running now. the belt shown in the pics was a stock F-body belt but I took the slack out of it with the clamp you can see up by the tensioner.

I am gonna run my alternator high on the pass side with no ac or ps...looks like that pulley circled would work. How did you mount it?
