Not NA. You talking wheel horsepower? You will need spray or boost, or a big cube motor. I think the max out of a stock cube LS1(from what ive seen) is low 5s, with NICE heads($$$). And that will be a somewhat radical setup.

600 should be easy if your not planning on staying NA.

Not to be a dick but I would be confertable in saying the OP is dreaming. That is why there are no detail besides a HP number.

haha i have an LS1 from a 02 corvette. its going in my 66 nova next year. im building the motor this winter. will be twin turbo set up. its all stock motor. thats why im asking if its achievable with stock heads and crank. i didnt see the stock lower end section, i will check that out.

motor had piston slap when pulled so it will be bored probably 30 over and ill do a nice piston and maybe rods if I need them. but i dont know what a stock motor can handle and thats why im asking.

You can't bore a LS1 block 030 over - sleeves are way too thin. For turbo you should consider forged pistons and rods. Suggest you check out the FI section of forum and do more research.

You sure can take it there with a turbo, twin screw or centri.

How reliable it will be will greatly depend on the tune and other supporting mods you do.

Why would you do twin turbos and only look for 600 hp? You can easily make a very drivable single turbo and the bottom end should be fine. You would be wasting your time and money to do twins. The money for a second turbo could be put into more usefull parts if you are only looking for around 600 or so hp.

ill move over to the FI section and check that out too. I am planning on doing 2 smaller turbos more so the balance of stuff under the hood looks nice. also im only shooting for 600 horse because its a street car and I drive it a lot. is on a 10.5 tire and stock the car weighs 2700 lbs with a 327. ill be at about 2500 lbs. anything more than 600 horse will be to much for this thing to handle on the street. thanks guys.
