Been seeing some sharp 4th gen cars lately... making me get the itchies to get mine on the road...

Mostly in the middletown area... i need to get to know the localssss lol

Their have been more 4th gens in Middletown than normal it seems.

Mines out all year long, not a show car. Black with flat black stripes on the hood and black wheels. I've been here for years and still don't know the locals :lol:

GTO here. If you were further north I could tell you of some events but I don't think you'd be interested in driving from Clayton to get to them lol

Odd, I almost never see any, with the exception of a couple beat up 6bangers.. i'm in the middletown/bear/newark area

i see the beat up 6 bangers in both lt and ls bodies... just the other day i seen one that was the new camaro green see a white ss all the time on 301/old 896 and the maroon ss at autozone all the time... not to mention the transams i see

I'm like you, I see some around but not consistently enough to know anyone. I have a buddy in Smyrna with an SS and a my best friend is in Clayton with his '06 GTO. I'm down in Felton

I honestly didn't know we had an f-body group in state until I found a post there about a monthly meet and cruise in Dover. Lol it was a pleasant surprise.

I always see a old dude in a white LT-1 SS with the TOTL exhaust. Nice guy. Also see a maroon LS1 Z28 with Z-06 wheels that's always filthy dirty every time I see it. Im always running around up and down to Smyrna where my buddies car is stored..

I have all the parts to fix it, just gotta get on my boss's schedule so we can get it on the lift and get it done. Got new tubular arms, new springs, hybrid S-10/LS-1 F-Body brake upgrade, bumpsteer kit, center link, everything.

Hoping to have it done in a few weeks.

98 white TA here, white sticker on top left of hatch window. I always try to throw out a wave when I see a fellow V8. Anyone seen the red firebird with the body kit and turbo badge LMFAO. He tries to race me atleast once a week.

well the build came to a screeching halt... sorta...

should have the chassis back within 2 weeks... then i need to buy more parts.

Im contemplating just doing it right the first time and going forged if it isnt already(havent pulled the pan since i dont have money now anyway... LOL)

But at the least i think i should re bearing everything, and drop a cam in...

so it might be done by september... unless i sell a kidney/new born/left nut/ my project lightning

i still need to get a ls6 intake... might as well get a set of 243 heads i have 853's... rocker bearing kit, bearings, head bolts/gaskets, a clutch/slave cylinder... LOL

I work on 202 in Wilmington. I usually see the same 2 ws6s, a red and black one. But my ride in Delaware is naamans road and 202. That's where youll find me lol.

theyve been drilled for two weeks now lol... i was just wondering...

i know my motor has been apart before... two pistons have had valve contact and only one hole was bad

Little update on my z28... got it back from the body guy a couple days ago...(long story behind the longger than expected job)

got it all washed and waxed and under the cover now...

so now i plan on redoing a few things interior wise like the carpet and seats...

my question to you all locals... Have any of you used any sound or heat dampening material? if so what? and how good did it work?
