LS4 Performance - Sub 3000lb

I have searched and searched has anyone broke the 3000lb mark for a w body? And was still streetable.

I had mine in the 3200s and all that was in it was the driver's seat, with a carbon fiber hood. I'm sure if you lost the A/C, got a carbon fiber deck lid, lighter doors, lighter seat, lighter wheels, etc. It'd be possible.

i say if you did the same thing to my car without the sunroof that u did to jps with mufflers and cats removed along with lighter wheels u would probably make it.

The whole assembly is probably 30 to 40ish, guessing.

Why bother? You drop all that weight and you have an uncomfortable,unstreetable car. With some bolt ons you will be in the 13's. Dropping weight, you will still be in the 13's unless you break open the engine.

Mine was still pretty damn comfy, granted I put the seats and junk back in when I was done.
And I was inching towards 12s, lighter wheels, stickier tires, spring binders, and not shifting early would've gotten me there. I hate I didn't get to do it. :(
