Default idle too low???

Is it bad for an engine to have an idle thats too low? My car idles around 750-800 The Z28 the cam is 24x/25x range. Sounds good doesnt cut off. Just wonderring if thats not healthy.. I see most idle around 950-1150 with that much cam. 6.6 liter engine. Are there any disadvantages to having it that low?

How's oil psi?
Do the plugs foul?
Does it sound better at 850 rpms?

The plugs are fine
It sounds good where it is. I just noticed that most idle a lot higher.

Many tunes idle higher for several of reasons....

Poor tuner knowledge or band-aid for another problem (not always the case)
Trying to achieve better manifold vacuum (to help when additional load is added by accessories)
Trying to hide some of the cam lope

That's just off the top of my head. If your setup is good at 800, and as said above, gets decent pressure, doesn't affect plug life, and is keeping the alternator happy, then I say leave it. The parking lot test is always the practical application IMO. If you can maneuver through a parking lot without giving it much gas and without it stalling, then I say you're good.
