Carbureted LSX forum - blow through power valve issue

I have a 5.3 ish lol with a blow through setup. I use to have a 60mm turbo 13psi setup I ran for a yr. no issues made pretty good power. I recently changed to a 76mm turbo. same 13psi. but since the turbo swap I got a issue of blowing power valves. I think boost pressure is doing it. I've been running normal power valves. is there a boost reference power valve made for higher boost pressure?

Talked to a guy at the track who is suppose to give me information on how to build a custom power valve for boost. but the track trip went pretty well. ended with a 6.23@119mph pass. spinning a 1.50 60ft.

any word on how to make the power valve from the guy at the track?

Nah not yet. I haven't been back to the track in a while. I will get more details over winter. looks like I'm done for the season.
