Paint & Body Work - any tips/tricks on scratches?

car has some surface scratches i'd like to get rid of if i can. anything for that? also swirl marks? car has factory navy blue paint..... thanks in advance.:cheers:

The main advise I,ll say about scratch removal Is you don,t really remove the scratch, you level down to them . Whether with compounds or with sandpaper first, if you don,t cut heavy enough , the scratches will still be there & you'rejust wasting time buffing or polishing on top of them.
Of course this has to be balanced out with how much paint ( or clearcoat ) you have & not burn through.

I use all the meguiars stuff. You could try some ultimate compound and see how that does. It's pretty good and is easy to find locally. If you want the professional Meg's stuff m105 and m205 are great.
