My battery in my ws6 has been dying when sitting for a few hours. I tested my alternator, its good, and the battery isnt very old. What could be killing my batter? I did the wire mod a few weeks ago and havent had the problem until the past few days could this have something to do with it?

what is "the wire mod"?

if you're going dead in just a few hours, that is an enormous draw.

couple easy ways to check......test light between either battery cable, and its terminal. that much of a draw's gonna have it lit pretty bright. once you confirm that, unplug the alternator. all of its wires. if the light goes out, the alternators voltage regulator has failed. if not, move to the fuse blocks. pull 1 fuse at a time till the light goes out. that'll tell you the circuit that's drawing.

also, check your glovebox light, hood and hatch lights. make sure none of them are staying on.

When doing the !Wire mod, did you relocate the battery ground?

The wire mod where you move the main wire harness into the fenderwell and relocate the grounds. Its dying like over night or while Im at work on an 8 hour shift. When I jump it it takes a second then fires right up.

Did you put any insulation or rubber grommets around the hole you cut for the wires?

Retrace your mod steps. Otherwise, set an ammeter up for a draw test and start pulling fuses.
