Stereo & Electronics - Headlight motor making a weird noise

To start of I have a 2001 ws6 with a factory alarm system w/o the remote. When I got out of my car today, and locked the doors from the inside, my headlight motor on the drivers side started to trip out and sounded like it was trying to close, when it was already closed. Any ideas on what's up with the motor?
