Im trying to replace my Fog Lights in my Trans Am. 880's i believe. i was reading up on a 4 year old post on them but i cant find the same dealer and i dont want buy the wrong HIDS. They supposidly plug in play etc etc.

If you have them can you share a link and w.e info ill need. thanks!

I got some off ebay xentec i believe they work great on my camaro i think they are 881 which are prety much the same as 880 dont quote me but ya $32 shipped plug and play

Hey i havent replaced the fog lights on my 95 ws6 I recently got it had a 99 firebird before and one of the foglights are out how do you replace it do u pull from the front or do u need to come in behind it i just dont wanna break the lense by pulling on it you know thanks for the help! anyone in the nebraska area wanna race hit me up

The slim ballasts have a better design but the regular ones are fine too.

Just select the drop down boxes and fill them out as:
Wattage: 35Watt (55watt is too much for the small housing and it will get too hot)
Bulb Type: 880/881/898/899etc
Bulb Color: whatever you want
Then leave these blank because you don't need them
HID Harness
Error Eliminator
Adaptor cables
Mounting Brackets

I bought kensun Xenon kit from amazon 60 bucks, is plug n play and doesnt blind the other drivers. I ordered 4300K (oem in Audi, Mercedes etc.). I have installed the kit 2 weeks ago and i dont have any problem.
Firebird Trans Am 1997 fog lights 880 bulbs 35 watts.

If more guys would take the time to do proper installs, you wouldn't be blinded..

Most people just take them and slap them in and don't properly aim them and that is why. If you take the time to aim them since the output pattern and light focus is different is isn't that bad.

I agree with the above 2 posts. After I finished my install first thing I did was pull the car out of tha garage get and get my beams aligned properly and havent had any oncoming traffic flash their lights at me yet.

I don't mean to hijack the post but I had some issues when I installed my hid kit on my fog light housing, I had them on for about 3 days then I noticed that the weren't aligned while I was drivin so I pulled over and checked them out only to notice that my fog light housing was melting with the heat of the hid bulbs, anybody have the same or a similar experience?

What wattage ballast did you purchase with the HIDs? You shouldn't use a 55W ballast (or 50W if you are ordering from The Retrofit Source) in the foglight housing due to the size with just an HID bulb.

What do you mean what kind? Like brand? If you are planning on getting a new kit make sure you get a 35W kit otherwise they will be too hot for the small housing.
