Default 50mm Cog Belt Issue

I'm finally going to put my car on dyno tomorrow after changing my blower from D1SC with 8 rib pulley to RMCR Set up with Vortech YSI 50mm Cog 80T lower and 32T upper pulley.
I'm little worried about my belt after talking to a buddy here on forum, he has a 50mm cog set up on his and he shredded 4 belts.
He is running stick in his car and I have TH400 could that be part of problem bashing gears through stick?

Thanks

Ive my own 50mm cog on my T56 car. I dont shred belts

Alignment is super critical with the cogs, and there needs to be sufficient idlers to control belt orbiting so it isnt flapping all over the place. But mostly alignment.

Yep, alignment must be 100% correct or you will shred belts. I went through ten 50mm belts before throwing in the towel on my procharger.

+1 for alignment, but driving style is also another big factor. Superchargers dont like sudden throttle changes, like high RPM WOT to 0% when shifting a stick. With the auto, you'll be easier on the belt, just remember to roll into and out of the throttle

Default Dyno Results

Thanks Guys, I had good day on dyno today no problems with belt or any other issues.

It made 656rwhp/632trq that was 15psi 16deg of timing 94 octane at 6200rpm on mustang dyno through TH400 with wheel spin, I will try to put it on dyno in couple weeks with some weight in trunk.
Went for drive, one crazy street car

No ****! That sucker does sound nasty! Stupid question, What size procharger does that YSI compare too? When you stab on the dyno/street, whatever, how long did it take for you to hit that 15psi?

YSi is comparable to an F1c. Some say F1R but they usually don't quite make F1R numbers.

I made 560rwhp with D1SC procharger at 10psi on same mustang dyno.
YSI comes more smoother then procharger in my opinion, it made 15psi about 4000rpm i think, I have to look at my logger.
It is more aggressive then D1SC, you cant compare the two.
I have 305/35/18 Mickey Thompsons and breaks them loss through all three gears, I need to get some traction before i up the boost
