Default sizing injectors for e85 and meth/water mix with boost

So if I wanted to buy the injectors once and don't want more than 550-600rwhp for a street only car that was running e85 and and spraying a meth/water mix, is the right answer 83lb vs the 60s? The 83s and 60s are the same price, I'd just hate to buy them twice.

this would be on a 5.3 or 6.0 with a ls6/z06 cam and rear mount t76. current motor has high compression ~11.75, so I'm looking for a jy 5.3 or 6.0 to get the compression down to more reasonable levels.

I am about to run meth and E85 as well. I will be running 100 percent meth since the e85 will take care of the temps. The reason you and I are running methanol, is prob because the kit is on already, although we never planned on it initially. its overkill but isnt modding an already pretty fast car the same thing?

so why the hell not. If anything its nice to know its there....and what can it hurt. I never planned initially to be running on the corn, but I am now, and the methanol kit is on and ready to go, so more power to us. As far as Injectors....my tuner asked me how much power I was going to end up making for the next year. I plan on being around 800rwhp.

It takes 30% more injector on average to make the same hp on E85 as it does on gas. Personally after a little math, and duty cycles studies I am going with 110-120lb injectors with a lonnies double and stainless lines and new rails. You and I are gunna have Ice on the tailpipes man! Im not sure how far those injectors will get me with an F1. but should make for some awesome timeslips and a longlasting setup. GLWB

just found out I have a e85 gas station about 4 blocks from the house, never knew I had it that close. the 83s and 60s are the same price, that's why I initially asked and why not e85 if I can?

I have a small cam 5.3, MPT 70mm, 10psi, E85 and 95lb injectors running 77% duty cycle. I had 60's and they were beyond maxed out at 10 psi. You need more injector than you think when it comes to E85.

what rail pressure are you guys running and what rails? sounds like I'd need to upgrade the rails as well to get that kind of flow for 83lbs+

You don't need to change the rails!

What would you say is the hottest IAT a stock engine can tolerate running on E85?
