Drag Racing Tech - can i cut my 5 pount harness?

ok, i have a rjs 5 point wrap around harness, i have the 2 belts wrapped around the cage but there is no much webbing left that it touches the floor, the instructions only say that i need 100mm past the buckle. can i cut the rest off?

I trimmed mine down, maybe 2inches past the buckle. Just what ever looked nice. And melted the ends with a lighter to stop them from fraying. Whats 100mm?? 2.54 inchs?

I sent them back to get re cert last year, and the shorted them to the lengths I sent them. They have a nicer machine to seals the ends. haha

ok i just wanted to make sure its ok before i cut it and its to late

25.4mm to an inch.... so approx. 4" past buckle.

ill go five to be sure, i just wanted to be positive that i can cut it
