2010 SS L99 vs Cobra
I was on the way home and a cobra rolled up next to me, so we made a couple pulls. I don't know his mods, I would assume its basic, maybe a pulley and exhaust, we didn't get to talk afterwards. My mods are in sig. I got both pulls on my cell phone, vid is a lil crappy but you can see the runs pretty clearly.
Run 1, 60 to 120ish, too high for me to start in 2nd, was at bottom of third on the hit, he pulled about a car or so before we shut down.
Run 2, 50-125ish, we both started in 2nd, I pulled out about a car or so.
Good clean runs, glad to be able to get a vid this time!

I wish we could have had a chance to talk to see what his mods were, but I was happy with the runs. Im looking for a set of 3.45 pullout gears at work to slip in....going to leave some gear for spray down the road, but the steeper 4th should help some.

I like your car is pretty clean. On the first run you said you guys started at 60, then that means both you and the cobra guy had to be in third as that speed is also too high for the cobra to be in second. The races seemed to depend on who Took the hit first.
Very unlikely that the cobra was pullied and supporting mods if your info on the sig is correct but then again anything can happen in the street...
Pretty cool video for what it is, gansta!

I believe we were around 60, because i got the shift denied message trying to go to second gear. My car goes 2-3 at 68 mph. I assumed his mods were minimal. Im searching for some wheels that won't break the bank now...lol. F the 20's

Lol! I know there are some pathetic 5th gens out, but I've been saying for a while that my car ran good for its mods. I don't know why some gen5s are turds, maybe they need a driver mod? I just don't understand it...lol

It might have those mods. Not all "pullied" Cobras make 460-470 rwhp. A mild setup would make a good amount less. Throw in some less than stellar driving, there you have it.

Good kill, I have been waiting to run into another one myself. I beat one before my cam on the street as well, took him by a car 2 out of 2. We talked after words and he had full exhaust and pully with nitto drs's. Its always fun racing a cobra, because you just never know!
