camaro no front grille mod question
hey guys so on my 2000 z i just did the no front grille mod and im just curious as to how some of you who have done the same mod have attached mesh to the bumper??

@ the OP. Go to Home Depot and buy a piece of mesh gutter guard. It's like $2 for 3 feet. Cut it to be the the shape of the holes, but slightly larger, then stuff it up in there and get it straightened out. I'd suggest you wear leather gloves while you do it, that stuff has sharp edges. As long as you left it big enough, it'll fit snug. I'll try and find pics of mine.

so double, did u literally just stuff it in there so it sticks into the foam? only problem i forsee is if im going fast enough that the mesh just comes loose

Cut it to shape, but a little bigger than the hole, then stuffed it in. Once it's in you can reach down from inside the engine bay to help straighten it out. That's all I did. They fit pretty snug and I've driven plenty fast with them in and they're still there, so yea. Oh and you may wanna tape up your bumper cover around the openings to keep from scratching your paint when you put them in.
