So last night took the car to the track for the first time in over a year. I expected the car to run close to a 7.0 in the eighth, 6.90s was what I was wishing to see. The first run I just went around the water and dusted the tires off, the car spun very bad running an 8.3 at 94mph. Next run I went through the water and did a first gear burnout, spun horribly again to a 7.9 at 96mph. Third run went through the water and did a first through second gear burnout, the car still spun then wheel hopped to run a 7.61 at 97mph. The fourth and final run the car died in the staging lanes. The battery was dead and found my alt. exciter wire snapped. Had to trailer the car home. When loading the car I nicked the lip of my pass. rear, brand new weld rts.... I was pissed. Then among unloading the car I bottomed out the exhaust and f'd it all up. What a start to the race season, but I think once I get the suspension to work the car has a low low 7 to a high 6 in it with the mph the car put up, what are your thoughts? Hope everyone else is having better luck!

Seems like you might have the MPH to run a 6.90 but it's going to need to dip into the low 1.5's or high 1.4's in the 60'. What tires are you running?

They are fairly new. I think it comes down to suspension. It acted like it wanted to hook then it would just unload and spin like crazy
