Default Just wanted to update everyone on my ride

Not really internal (it used to be), but anyway...all of my perf parts have been sold The car is back to stock.

My old motor was obviously junk, cracked block and such. Ls1tech members Cammin Beasst, and LoNsLo got together and found me a nice cheap used ls1 long block. It got here a few days ago, and its on its way in the car now. Once its running again its being traded in.

Oh well, time for a pickup with a HUGE lift. This recent experience really did leave a bad taste in my mouth. But I cant tell all of you how much I appreciate the help some of you offered. You guys are great!

Special thanks to:
Cammin Beasst
LoNsLO
Texas Speed
Comp Cams
Futral Motorsports
and countless other members

All of which reached out a helping hand. Thanks again!

Chevy 2500HD on at least a 42" lift. Dont be skerrrrrrrr'd

Parking garages? Hell no. If no parking is available I'll park over a Civic without ever touching it.

better get a diesel HD, because your gas mileage is going to be terrible with that much lift and just a 6.0L engine.

My truck got 19 mpg stock height, 16 mpg lifted on 33s.

You are still gonna hang out and sell rims and tires right?? I might get rid of my car also, i'm getting it out of storage this weekend and i'm gonna drive it for a little while and enjoy it, but then i'm going to bring it back to the dealership and see what if anything they will do about my piston slap issue, if they wont fix it i'm gonna see if they will do a buy back. If things don't go well I plan on going the same route you went!!! There are just to many fun things to do in MI with a beast like that!! Enjoy the new toy!!!
