General LSX Automobile Discussion - porting throttlebottle

Quick question if porting ur stock throttle body will it make ur car run lean or no. I have a pretty much stock 02 ws6 any help would be great

not saying it's impossible, but very doubtful. i have a 2000 camaro and i did a home porting job, not as extreme as a pro job but all i noticed was slightly increased throttle response. i don't think it's a big enough mod to make it run lean

Had one done by Shaner and had no problems on my 02 Firehawk. Throttle response was greatly improved.

Just do it already and let us know what you think.

I've never had a car with a throttle bottle before, so I don't know how it will respond to porting. :P

Haa throttle body, and just drilled holes in a gt and know he has to get a new throttle body cause it puts to much air in and idles real high.
