Hi,

Car: 99 Z28 T56, Stock gear

Mustang Dyno :
- Max WHP : 346 @ 6345
- Max WTQ : 320 @ 4900

1st run / Second run
R/T : 0.867 / 0.468
60' : 2.892 / 2.681
1/8 : 9.483 @ 84.46 / 9.218 @ 86.00
1/4 : 13.956 @ 109.90 / 13.649 @ 109.47

I was shifting just under the cut off (around 6400)

If I launch properly... what is the potential?

Thanks!

If it's got everything listed in your signature, there's no way you shouldn't be in mid to low 12's (maybe lower depending on cam size), especially for an M6.

I'm also a little concerned about your dyno numbers, even for a mustang dyno. I'm making 345 rwhp and 360 rwtq (dynojet) through an A4 with just bolt-ons. If you've got an aftermarket cam in your car, you're missing quite a bit of power somewhere.

Out of curiosity, what kind of tires did you do those runs on? That will have a lot to do with it too. Might make you spin more and lose a lot of time trying to get them to hook.

Thanks for the comments

With Headers, Exhaust, Air Box/Lid and a tune I was making 305 rwhp (Mustang). My understanding is that the 99 heads are the bottleneck which limits the full potential of the new cam (231/234 .599/.648).

Tires are Nitto NT05 but it is still cold here in Montreal (around 45F) so traction was an issue.

I need to find the best launch and shifting point.
