Default Converter?

Hey guys, I have a Hughes 25a20L converter in my truck that was not really meant to take the abuse that I am throwing at it. I was wondering if anybody has ever actually ballooned a converter with boost or had one come apart from it? I just went to a little bigger turbo and I can't afford a new converter right now but I want to try the new turbo. Should I worry throwing 750rwhp at this thing?

Thanks

Just call them and see what it's rated for, and if it has an anti ballooning plate or not

Got a nitrous converter in trade with some other parts and ballooned it and killed the trust bearing on an iron 5.3 I had a few years ago.

I did call them and they weren't sure if it would hold or not. They told me this converter was rated for about 500 crank hp and I have been running it at 650+ rwhp for almost two years without any problems.
