Looking for best ram air system out there
Which is the better system out there? Fast Toys ram air, Slp flopac, or the free ram air mod? I'm looking for the most rwhp and most et and mph that can be gained from one of these systems. Or is there a better system out there I'm not aware of? Any suggestions or opinions will be greatly appreciated

I also just read about the Super Sucker Ram Air (SSRA) system. Any opinions or suggestions or are they all a waist of money. Would the free ram air mod give me the same gains? I'm trying to get every bit of power I can out of the bolt ons I have and need some opinions before I waste my money

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...air-worth.html That should answer most of your questions. There is an A/C compatible version too so don't let the first couple post scare you away.... I didn't reread the entire thread but IIRC Chris posts in there at some point...

My friend has the chris1313 ram air. He wasn't happy with it. His car ran very hot, and it was made poorly. Also you had to cut up the hood latch brace to fit it in or remove it

That's the NON AC version. I have it. I know.
I don't know where you're getting poorly made from, however. Mine fits / functions / looks great.
Also, I live in south Louisiana. My car never ran hot with my LS1 radiator. Only reason I have an LT1 radiator now is because my old ls1 radiator finally cracked.
OP, Chrs1313 has a GREAT kit, and I'm positive you'll like and notice the gains.

Now what about performance of the SSRA? Heres my track results...

Im running the a/c version of the SSRA
Not to bash anyones CAI kit design or anything but im a sheetmetal mechanic by trade and theres one kit out there that is just to flimsy for my taste. I dont really care for the cutting of the hood latch either but just my opinion

I love how the chrs1313 looks under the filter. It looks sweet. Anyone have any pics of the other systems installed? Id like to see what they look like under the filter or any pics you have

i have a slp on mine it fits great no overheating issues and i drive mine ever day have been in bumper to bumper traffic with the ac wide open and 100 degree heat is it the best for max power and track time idk i have never had any other brand but if you want the best advise anyone will give you pick up whichever one you can get for the best deal because there in no way there could be a big power difference from one to another
