Just left atco raceway in nj best run of the night was 12.542@108.12. 60' was 1.791 which I need to get down.
Can't complain it was my city trip to the track in 2 years and my first ever time at the track in a Chevy instead of a mustang. Won't be going back either lol.
I need to figure out how to get my front brakes to hold more then 2500 rpm and then I can get that 60' down. Any tips? I also need skinnies like NOW LOL.

What car/tranny/mods? What is the rest of the slip?

That is a low ET for that mph so congrats. What was the DA?

Don't have the slip on me right now but its a 99 z28 with a ace biult 4l60 3600 revmax stall, lts, ory, frost tune, SLP lid, 4" mufflex, founders lcas and phb, 3.42 10 bolt, with 26" 17" mickey radials on graveyard torque thrusts front and back.
I have a torque arm, throttle body, and qa1 front coil overs with 300lb springs, lca relocation brackets all to put on still plus I think the car still has more in it the way it was last night. So I am thinking by next track visit in a couple weeks I will be on the 11s. especially if I can get my hands on some skinnies.

Good times. Don't get too excited though, an April day at ATCO is going to give you pretty much the best conditions you'll ever run in anywhere in the country.

Just with the mods u already have you should be able to get low 12's...as for the breaks you will need bigger ones

After my engine goes back together, I'd like to make a trip out to ATCO. I think my cam only stock suspension LT1 can go mid 11's pretty easily with the additions I'm making this year. Went low 12's last year in 3000 DA and I've made quite a few improvements. Negative DA would be AWESOME!

I went down with evil in my bone stock 2000 trans am with a 100 shot and almost skipped the 12's. Car went 13.40 on motor bone stock with only a lid on it. Sprayed a 100 shot and it went 12.22..gotta love nitrous...lol

Good runs...Just one thing I wanted to note. Don't stall it up so much! Bring it to 1200 or so and let the converter flash up to where it should be. The converter is made to flash in those conditions, not loaded up on so much. It will help your 60' times I bet!

Yeah I was frying that but it would spin when I did that. I think my burnouts were too short when I did that. I am used to 15" et streets where yu just dust em off and they hook. Apparently with 17" et streets you gotta heat em up GOOD! Lol. I still agree with 1sicz I think it has low 12s the way it sits without the other parts I have. But we will see on the next outing. Gonna try to head back up this week or next week.
