Drag Racing Tech - What all can be removed from behind the dash?

Ok so I finally grew a pair and pulled my dash out.

I've already pulled the dutch work. I'm removing the HVAC tomorrow.

I have a few questions though about what all I can remove.

There is a box with two connectors on it that was attached to the center duct work that would be like right behind the radio. What is this?

Also there is another box that is right behind the airbag kind of sandwiched between the airbag and blower motor box, What is this?

I also want to remove any un-need wires. Can I just unclip all the lines from the HVAC knobs? are there any other wires I can remove. The only thing I want to retain is my radio.

The one behind the radio is for keyless entry or something with the lights I beleive, the other one by the air bag is the bcm or body control module. You'll need them both for the car to function correctly.
