Would a msd box part # 6420 work on a 97 camaro? Thanks

Yes.

This is very similar to a Digital 6 ignition and the Digital 6AL. It has a 2 step rev limit, that the others don't. If you don't need the 2 step then the Dig 6AL is a cheaper alternative.
MSD 8877 Is the harness that keeps you from cutting on the factory wires.
Check out page 13 on msd PDF

I don't have any experience with the 6AL-2, but I have a Dig 6AL, Dig 6, and a 7AL-3. The Dig 6AL also has a removable connector on the side so that's the only major difference.

So if I want to msd box with a 2 step I need the 6AL-2? my car is a 97 lt1 so the part #8877 will wire it right up? Thanks

It's a forged 383, ported heads and intake, v7 ysi, front mount intercooler and meth, all the other goodies that go along with that stuff.

The 6420 is the older model Thats whats in my 95 & 8970 multi stage retard box for 2 stages of nitrous Room to grow Lmao

So #6421 is the newer one. So that's the one I need correct?
