Default Pulling heads with studs?

Do the studs need to come out, or will the heads fit over them. Car is a 98 Fbody

tight squeeze but it can be done. Just as easy to unscrew the studs just like bolts IMO.

Ive done it a few times on my 2000 f body. You have enough room to do it. Without pulling the studs out.

On the passenger side, you have to leave them in, specifically the bottom ones in the back since there isn't enough room to remove them with the head on the block.

Taken mine off several times. None have to come out of the block. Anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't know what the hell they are doing

As stated, the heads can come off with the studs still in the block. Done it before .... no issues
