Western Members - Pics/Vids - El Toro AutoX Sunday 4/15

SCCA AutoX is at El Toro Field (aka the Great Park in Irvine) tomorrow (Sunday)! They are using a large section of runway for the track. The course is anywhere from 45 seconds to 90 seconds per lap (it's a HUGE course). Has anybody here registered? Registration closed yesterday I think. I'm going there to watch cq55 run his Camaro and take some pics (old pic):

Great video and pictures. I hope this can show a few of you out there, how much fun this can be. It would be nice to see more f-bodys out there. Check out solo2.com for up coming dates, or email with questions if you got them.

How much was this event?

Free to watch/pit. To race, SCCA membership required http://www.scca.com/about/index.cfm?cid=44704 and maybe a Solo2 points card http://solo2.com/MembershipFAQ.asp but both of those are good for a year, not just one event.

road course still seems much more fun IMO

Rather focus on my lines and apex than reaction/response.

I hope you're not judging the sport by this one video alone...
and assuming that lines/apex don't play a big role in this.
