like the title says i have a set of 243 heads rite now they are not ported only milled to 62cc i can get a set or prc 2.5 5.3 they are 62cc heads my question is how much power should i gain my mods are in my sig

Have you considered sending the 243s in for CNC porting? I would do that before I bought 5.3s.

i have considered it but i can buy the 5.3 heads for the same price as what tsp priced porting my heads for i know that the 243 is a much better head to port but this way my car is only down a few hours

I'd port the 243's also, get them milled to up the compression while their at it. I have close to the same mods as you with numbers in sig.

Have AI or TEA fully port the 243's and have them mill for the compression you want.

Or you can just buy a set of already ported 243s and sell off your stock ones. That way there's no downtime...

if i could find a set of ported 243 at a good price i would but i refuse to give 1200-1300 for used ported heads when you can get them new for 1500 lol i have been in the market for heads for a while and would buy a set of used aftermarket caskings but everyone is craze they want to sale used ones for only a couple hundred less then new
