2001 TA with factory Monsoon stereo. CD head unit. No disc changer.
If I install the GM9 - Aux on my factory head unit I can still play single CD's off the head unit correct??

Yes. Just tested it to make sure haha.
I didn't get a disc changer either and modified the adapter cable so there would be less clutter back there. You can plug the GM9-AUX cable it into the factory adapter, but I didn't see any point since on the other end of that factory cable (at the back of the car) it's just open ended anyway. When I do my sound deadening, I'm ripping out that factory CD-changer harness.
