Automatic Transmission - trans cooler

I'm about done with my car I just put a 4000 stall and wanted to know if a 5x12 3/4 cooler be okay for now

Is it a plate or tube and fin?

Tube and fin

If you could try to get a larger one because (I could be wrong) that type doesn't cool as efficiently as a plate style cooler.

K I had one laying around and wanted to see if I could use it before I went out and got one
