Racetronix Pump issue before and after?
Ok here is the story, I ran out of gas on my 01 z28 Friday afternoon, put some gas in it it started right up and it drove find for an hour or so, after that my car seemed to loose power and SES light started blinking which means a misfire,
Went to autozone and got a code for a misfire on cylinder 7, took the car to my auto class at my local community college and I changed the fuel pump for a racetronix pump and hooked everything up, i primed the pump several times and it started right up and seemed to work fine.
Im still having the issues with the misfire and seems in the morning my car has to be cranked at least twice to work, so is this normal for a racetronix pump, seems I have to prime it at least twice??
Thanks

Good chance this is not a pump problem.

you said it was mis firing before you changed the pump correct if it was missing before the pump and its still missing after the new pump then it sounds like the miss is caused by something other then the pump as far as the hard starting it could be a loose connection causeing the fuel to drain back as it sits or a bad pump
