A few months back the 5.7 in this commander kicked a rod, so it was swapped out for a 6.1 out of a charger... Apparently this charger had a couple things done to it, because this motor is nasty. K1 rods, forged pistons, ported heads, forged crank, ARP 2000 rod bolts.

It's a low compression forged 6.1L. It was built for boost.

Do happen to know how low? You plan on throwing some boost on it? My dad had one buy he didn't like but I think if he had one like yours he would have kept it....nice sleeper:drive:
