Automatic Transmission - What Do I Need? 4L60E From F-Body-2002 Vette LS1

Is there any considerations to mate a 4l60e from f-body to to a vette ls1? This is the last stage of my conversion.

Is the transmission going in the 02 corvette? If so you will need a 4L60e from a corvette because they are completely different than the f-body unit. Let me know and I will point you in the right direction.

I'll give you a call. It is an '02 vette engine i am putting in a '95 trans am with a stage II 4l60E

It will bolt right up to the LS1.

It will physically bolt up to the LS1 but you will not use one bolt location. You will also need a flexplate spacer like this.
