LS4 Performance - any borla out there?

Time to change exhaust. Currently running 2 powersticks with no res. Gonna put 1 15" borla xr1 round or 16" oval where res was and straight pipe where muffs are now. Anyone with borla please post a vid. Cant find any vids other than one but quality blows so you cant tell.

You think oval would fit where resonator was or would i have to go round? 16" x 4 1/2" x 7 7/8 is the oval The round is only 5" so i know that will.

Ok so round borla was still $160 ha so i decided to go big and or i guess small and ordered a loudmouth 1 for half the price. I figure if gxp with muffler delete and factory res sounds good then same with slp res instead should sound better. Geuss ill find out soon enough.

Yeah lm1 is just a resonator should sound good with stock manifolds and cat still on

Ok so the lm1 was on backorder so i ended up gettting the xr1. Had it installed today and sounds really great. Has some drone on slow accel but highway cruise has none. Has a really low rumble and sounds smooth through whole rpm range. Cant wait til it gets broke in should sound even better. Sounds much better than the powersticks i was running. All i have is my phone to record so ill try to get someone with a nice cam and take some vids.

I ran the Impala with just the resonator + the cat for about a year. Had kind of a sloppy sound and droned badly at highway speeds. It was loud and sounded pretty good from the outside, though.

Mu current setup of catless DP + 3" into Spintechs is by for the best setup I've heard on one of these cars.
