i recently bought a 1998 firebird...roller was previous ls1 car auto etc had no engine wiring still had headlight wiring and interior harness it had no airbag censor under centerconsole other than that all interior wiring was intact
the issue is i purchased a 2000 z28 camaro for its drivetrain to swap fully
i used its engine,trans, anything under the hood and basically whole suspension except rearend...i also used its steering column and bcm
my issue is that the car runs now, but the gauges do not work..except for the battary gauge...interior lights work and so do door locks...but radio and other remaining gauges do not work
i have no clue where to start or what to do...i was mislead when buying the car and was told it was a 99 so i figured the parts car and everything would interchange....unfortunatelly somthing went wrong somwhere
i need to get the gauges and radio working also i had transmission professionally rebuilt at time of swap and it seems that it is having lag in reverse if its a mechanical issue fine.....but was wondering if it could also be related to the electronic issue...because when the trans was still in camaro it worked fine ......any help is extremelly appreciated!!!!!!!
