Gears & Axles - what kind of differential do i have?

2000 camaro ss, i dont believe i have the slp package. torsen 26 spline?

28 spline !
torsen if it's still as from the factory.
could be torsen,auburn,eaton,or whatever customer wanted from SLP.

so all are 28 spline? i had heard 26 spline for torsen. any difference between torsen and the other two?

The axles determine carrier spline count
1988 and earlier had 26 spline,1989 and later have 28 spline.
From the factory,1998 & earlier got Auburn,1999 & later got Torsen.
