Default FORD 30# M-9593-B302 vs M-9595-BB302

I am tuned for the B302 (aka red tops). I need to replace a faulty injector and the B302 are not made anymore.

Can I use the BB302 without getting a re-tune?

The "BB302" are the newer "thinner" ones but have the older EV1 connector on them (same as B302)

my ? is if I swap to the newer BB302 injectors from my older B302's which are also 30 # injectors, do I need a PCM re-tune?

I do not think you need a re-tune. Only if the injectors were different sizes. Though there may be some degree of variability with the injector poundage being that they are different (older vs newer) injectors, it shouldn't be much at all, if any.

There is definitely someone out there that knows more about this then me though, so I would wait until you get another couple posts saying it's fine before going with the newer ones.
