I used a 700r4 on mt 4.8 then when that granaded I put my th350 on and these are the part numbers I used right from GM.

flexplate 12551367
spacer 12563532
bolts 12563533 X6

tghen you have to elongate the holes a little. Works graet on my car.

you can also get all three of those parts in one flywheel kit. Part number 12621399. Should be around $75 from your local GM dealer and most dealers stock it.
Thats all you need to use your 200r4. Also you will not be using the top passenger side bell housing bolt because the block is not tapped for one. Do not attempt to tap it either because there is a water jacket right behind it.

You also have to rig up some kind of TV cable bracket on your DBC. DBW will almost certainly require a manual valve body. I liked mine but the trans wouldn't live.

I'm running a carb on mines that's about the only reason I'm not going with a 4l60e, plus I used to be into grand nationals so I still know guys with pretty strong 2004r's for sale. Also it looks like the flywheel doesn't come as a kit anymore gotta purchase the parts sepertaly, gotta check into this more but I read it in a couple other threads on this site, and the discription on the part just says flywheel. That sucks

Yeah the description will just say flywheel. That part number gets you all the parts though.

I had to buy all mine seperatly. GM had flexplate and bolts in stock but the spacer was on back order. I ordered the spacer through Summit.

I know you didn't ask, but since the conversation turned briefly to the TV Cable, here's a pic of my carb'ed LS with a 200R4 trans using a Lokar throttle bracket, cable, and kickdown. You'll also need the Holley plate that bolts to the throttle arm...
