2001 Camaro SS 144K miles, 6 spd, t-tops. Spun a rod bearing and fixed the car with the intentions of keeping it. It had a lot of issues and was tired of fixing something once a month so I rebuilt everything except the transmission. Sold the old engine and started from scratch. Going to start a 100 mile a day commute and don't want to kill my wallet. Here's a list of the good and the bad.

Bought a used shortblock and replaced the cam, rod, and crank bearings and rings

Custom cam 232/236 .601/.601 112 LSA

TSP 7.4 pushrods
Cloyes billett timing chain
Ported LS6 oil pump
MLS head gaskets
ARP head bolts
241 heads milled .010, bowl and throat blend, valve job, PRC dual springs rated to .675
Factory LS6 intake
Fast 42lb injectors
SPEC stage 2 clutch
Motive 4.10 Gears
Rear end rebuilt with ratech bearing
All new gaskets
Brand new oil pan
KYB rear shocks
All new sensors

New rack and pinion

The Bad
The front of the hood is chipping
There is a little spot on the hood and a couple of spots on the spoiler where the clearcoat is coming off
Had a dent popped out right behind the drivers door. You can still see it but you have to look for it
It could use the tint is pealing and needs attention
